FLIP SIDE

The flip side to the profanity-laden rant below is this haughty, yet true, piece that ran in The Register, titled "Reach out and sneer: Dem radicals speak to the Red States."

With hard work and superb organization, you have triumphed over John Kerry and the forces of Blue-state paternalism. Congratulations. The multinational corporations that hold you in bondage remain free to profit off your sweat nearly tax free, while their overpaid senior execs continue to pay a pittance in personal income tax.

It certainly won't do much in the way of persuading any voters in the near future — or in the long-term, for that matter — but the truths feel good to hear.

Especially because we know they're true.
